As a skilled multi-instrumentalist, he offers lessons in acoustic and electric guitar, drums, percussion, bass guitar, piano, keyboards and singing. This lets him expand a students experience by playing along on another instrument - such as playing bass alongside a guitar student - to develop their skill in playing with other musicians. He'll often get a guitar student to jump on the drum-kit to improve their time and help them find their groove. His melodic vocals enhance instrumental lessons, subtly teaching students to work with a vocalist and explore their own voice. 

Musically his tastes and influences are diverse, allowing him to teach any style that meets the interests of his students, although he loves to stretch and challenge them to experience new styles and learn skills to make them more rounded musicians.   

He sharpens his chops by gigging locally as a drummer, bassist, singer and guitarist. This not only keeps his passion alight, but helps him to understand and guide students who are starting out as performers.  

Pino began teaching music at just 16, encouraged by his own music teacher to take on students. He now pays forward the opportunity he was given, supporting advanced students to take that first step and start teaching. 

Pino shares his love of music with his students, sparking a long-term passion for playing within them. Whether they are 7 or 70, he approaches each student as an individual; responding to their interests, goals and their own emotional connection with music and the learning process. His students tend to stay the distance, often returning later to continue playing and learning as friends and fellow musicians.
